Requests for Support
UST Inc. considers requests for support only from tax-exempt organizations that satisfy the requirements of section 501(c)(3) of the United States Internal Revenue Code. UST Inc. does not fund:
- Individuals
- Political candidates, parties, and lobbying organizations
- Labor, religious, and fraternal organizations
- Multi-year grants
- Organizations that pose a conflict of interest
- Organizations or projects outside the United States
- Organizations that discriminate by race, religion, color, creed, sex, age or national origin
- Conferences
Proposals will be considered only if they are submitted in writing and meet UST's established guidelines. In addition, proposals must be accompanied by the necessary supporting documents and background information about the particular program for which funding is being sought.
