When a Polaris Ranger was presented to the American Red Cross of Greater Indianapolis in August 2006, CEO John Lyter (left) and Heather Starr, the organization's emergency services coordinator (right), wasted no time in demonstrating how the vehicle could be used to transport a medical gurney and other equipment (below). The donation was made to the group by USSTC Division Manager Ralph Militello (center).
