Taking a break from his regular ride, drag racer Tommy Johnson, Jr. (right) got behind the wheel of a Polaris Ranger in May 2005 when the vehicle was donated by USSTC to the Wapello County, IA, Sheriff's Office. Johnson, who drives the Skoal Racing funny car that competes on the National Hot Rod Association circuit, hails from Ottumwa, IA, which is the seat of Wapello County. Sitting beside him in the vehicle was Sheriff Don Kirkendall.
